Recall Insight
This recall's affected scope, documented in the Recall Profile below, stays within a single-region or limited-distribution footprint. Distribution information was not included in the agency filing, so consumers should assume broad potential exposure until the firm publishes point-of-sale details. Consumers holding this product should act on the agency's documented remedy above rather than relying on general guidance.
Within the same product category the archive holds 6 closely related recalls, 6 from CPSC - clustering in a narrow category often points to a systemic quality-control or supplier issue rather than a one-off defect. Always verify the recall number against the official agency record before acting.

Product description
The Country Clipper riding mowers are red with black wheels and controls. The recalled blades have these model numbers: 629-306P, 629-307P, and 629-308P. The blades are black with two slots cut near the middle of the blade. The replacement blades do not have slots.
Reason for recall
The ends of the blades on these Country Clipper riding mowers can break off and become projectiles, leaving the mower deck at a high rate of speed. The recalled blades can break because "slots" in the blade cause metal fatigue.
Remedy, what to do
Consumers should stop using the Country Clipper Jazee Lawn Mowers with Grass Collection Systems with the recalled blades immediately. Call the Country Clipper dealer to make an appointment for free replacement of the recalled blades.
