CPSC, Southern Living At HOME Announce Recall of Tea Light Candles

This alert is only for consumers who purchased Item Number 40491 (the item number is located on the side of the packaging below the logo), an eight pack of Fern Warm Comforts tea light candles, after October 26, 2004. The tea light candles are green and come in a plastic holder. Candles purchased prior to October 26, 2004 are not affected by this alert.. Recalled by Candle-lite, of Cincinnati, Ohio for Southern Living At HOME, a direct selling company. Units affected: 3,480.

Some of these tea light candles from one production run can burn with a high flame, due to contamination.

Southern Living At HOME will notify consumers who purchased the recalled candles directly and will receive a free replacement candle set.
