Product Description

This recall involves all Roman shades with black-out lining sold by Restoration Hardware Baby & Child. These shades measure 23, 32, 36 and 48 inches wide by 64 inches long. There is a label sewn on the left lower corner on the back of the shade that states "baby & child Restoration Hardware" and "Made in China." Reason for Recall

Strangulation can occur when a child places his/her neck between the exposed inner cord and the fabric on the backside of the blind or when a child pulls the cord out and wraps it around his/her neck.

Remedy

Consumers should immediately stop using these Roman shades and contact Restoration Hardware Baby & Child to receive a free repair kit. All known purchasers have been contacted by the firm. The free repair kit will be available within six weeks.
