Recall Insight
This recall's affected scope (see the Recall Profile below) is large enough to require multi-state distribution tracking. Distribution information was not included in the agency filing, so consumers should assume broad potential exposure until the firm publishes point-of-sale details. Consumers holding this product should act on the agency's documented remedy above rather than relying on general guidance.
Within the same product category the archive holds 6 closely related recalls, 6 from CPSC - clustering in a narrow category often points to a systemic quality-control or supplier issue rather than a one-off defect. Always verify the recall number against the official agency record before acting.

Product description
The diffuser nightlight has a white plastic base. A porcelain snowman attaches to the plastic nightlight to cover the nightlight bulb. The nightlight comes with winter holly scented oil that is placed in the snowman's top hat.
Reason for recall
The scented oil can drip, causing the nightlight base to crack or break, exposing electrical wire or metal parts inside the nightlight, thus causing a potential shock hazard. There is also a risk of cuts, if the nightlight breaks.
Remedy, what to do
Consumers can get a free replacement nightlight base that will not crack or break from the oil. Known purchasers are being sent direct mail notification of this recall.
